Grant Family History: Man About Town

John Peter Grant of Burley, aged 19 in 1936 used to go to a number of theatre shows in London. On the left is a menu card dated 12th September 1936, and on the right is a collection of autographs he managed to collect. The top one was that of my Father.

Wessex in Fiction: The Ghost Sonata

The Ghost Sonata is the third in the Gilda Joyce series of young adult mystery novels by Jennifer Allison. Gilda Joyce is a teenager who solves mysteries using a ouija board and her psychic abiities. The Ghost Sonata sees her accompanying her best friend Wendy Choy to a piano recital in Oxford, where she discovers that the recital is haunted.
